Machine-pressed sandcrete blocks built to the GS 297 standard — bringing consistent, reliable building materials to Kumasi and Accra.
Get in TouchGhana's housing deficit sits at roughly 1.8 million units, with demand for 70,000–133,000 new units a year. Much of the supply gap is met by hand-molded sandcrete blocks that fall short of Ghana Standards Authority strength requirements. David Bricks is closing that gap with machine-pressed, quality-first production.
6-inch hollow blocks, machine-pressed for consistent density and strength.
Durable concrete pavers for walkways, driveways, and site work.
Additional block sizes and configurations available on request as production scales.
Every block is produced on a Dongyue QT4-15 press line, engineered for consistent tonnage and cycle pressure — the same density and strength, block after block. That consistency is what hand-molding can't reliably deliver, and it's what GS 297 certification is built to measure.
David Bricks is the first venture from DO Ventures, founded by David Okrah — eight years at Microsoft turning technology adoption into measurable business outcomes, now applying that same execution discipline to building materials in Ghana.
